Whitney Houlin (better known as GetFit_Whit on instagram) has been in the fitness industry as an instructor for the last 8 years.
Although she’s been a group fitness participant for years prior to that, she became passionate about what group fitness was able to do for her beyond just the physical component and decided to pursue teaching herself!

Whitney is AFAA certified and holds certifications in PiYO, Barre, Jumpsport Bounce, TRX, TRX Pilates, and Pilates.
While she loves all of the formats and has education in multiple specialties, Barre resonates with her on a deeper level since she grew up participating in dance. There is something magic about moving to the beat of the music and feeling graceful and strong all at the same time. Whitney’s passion is in creation; she loves creating sequences and choreography with the right music that can really set a group fitness class apart and make it not just a class, but an experience!

When she’s not finding new music, or jotting down choreography notes somewhere, my husband and I are busy keeping up with our three daughters. Whitney also love to cook and bake! It’s not uncommon to find a tiered cake in her house on a given Tuesday because the mood struck. Food is her (other) love language!
